Ellis @ 13 weeks
Today marks the 13th week that Ellis has been with our family and tomorrow marks her 3 month birthday. Her newest trick can be seen in the video. Stick with it, she finally gets going at 39 seconds. You can see how much Ellis’ bubbles cracks me up. Every single time.
Besides this, Ellis has had a bit of a developmental lull this week. She hasn’t rolled over since the first time 2 weeks ago despite tummy time attempts 2 times per day. She hasn’t made too much progress on grasping either. Of course, there is nothing to worry about but not too much to report on either.
She has consistently taken 3 hour naps since Saturday which I am loving in the afternoon. I have got to soak in some sun, get some things done around the house and even sneak in a nap of my own. I know these won’t last forever. The one piece of advice that I hear again and again is that, “As soon as you get used to a routine with your baby, it changes.” Being a parent is certainly teaching me how to take things day by day!
We are excited about the weekend, heading out to Roche Harbor for a little family vacation in honor of my BFF’s wedding. I am so thrilled to serve as Krevin’s Matron of Honor! Pics and stories to come…
