My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

We’ll have a gala old time..
Jake and I were excited to attend our first gala and auction and to support Big Brothers, Big Sisters. We dressed up and went down to the Country Club on Saturday night. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize that almost everyone there had an assigned table and apparently NO ONE bought tickets online like us. So, feeling a bit out of place already and clearly not understanding gala rules, we ended up in the “raise your hand if you have never been to a gala before” line. At least that is what it felt like. We ended up getting placed at the Matrix table with really nice people so it ended up OK. It was their first gala too.
