My nieces picked up these awesome gloves at K-Mart.  Maddy was SO excited to show me that she had a toy in the truck with my “favorite player” on it.  After dinner, Maddy come out proudly with her Coug gear.  Of course, I loved it, and oohed and aahed over her toy.  Paiton, wanting to feel included ran over with the purple one on her hand.  It took everything I had not to boo my adorable 3 year old niece.  Cougar pride runs deep.  Paiton could tell that my enthusiasm was not there for the purple one and got a little sad about it.  How do you tell a 3 year old that her #1 sucks but her sisters is fabulous?  Feeling guilty, I took both girls up on their offer to let me “borrow” them.  What I am going to do with this Husky lover thing in my house now??
