My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

Back to School
For many reasons, I love back to school time. For one, I love school supplies. Paper, pencils, day planners, pens, all of it. I always buy a new day planner each August and replenish my own personal school/office supplies. I also love back to school clothes shopping. Since I work at a college, I get to plan new outfits for the first week of school. Every September brings a new energy that I love. It is incredibly busy but so much fun. All of the students are filled with possibility and excitement. It is energizing. So, as I prepare for own return to school and a new educational endeavor, it is truly back to school for me, both for my job and as a student!
