My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

Thanksgiving 2010
Jake and I traveled to Sedro Woolley to have Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house. It snowed all morning which provided great scenery for the drive.
We had several activities planned for after dinner. During the Saints/Cowboys game, we made a poll and let everyone buy in for a quarter. Paiton (my 5 year old niece) was the big winner for the $15 pot and she was very excited!
We also made wreaths and played Beatles Monopoly until well into the night. Wreath-making was new for us but I think it might just become a Thanksgiving tradition. My dad and brother gathered the fresh branches from the snow and we arranged our fresh wreaths to kick off the holiday season.
