My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

Happy Birthday Jake!
To celebrate Jake’s birthday which actually took place on Monday, November 22nd, we had a little football viewing party. Our gathering was loosely themed by the Seahawks…that is until they sucked it up during the game. Oh well.
We made white chicken chili and homemade pizzas, plus a yummy birthday cake and other snacks. Here is Jake tossing the dough and my Seahawks ticket muffin topper.
There is a long tradition at our house of turning our fireplace mantle into a party favor. It is just the perfect height for dancing on and jumping off of. Well, Jake’s b-day party was no exception and although our parties have changed quite a bit over the years, I was still glad to see jumping of the mantle on Sunday.
