My thoughts on the heat wave.

I heard a weather person from Western on the radio the other day saying something like, “Your kids and grandkids will ask you if you remember the heat on July 29th”.  Really?  We are going to talking about this for 30 more years?  It is not like remembering where you were when you heard that Michael Jackson died or anything.

So, what did I do on July 29th?  Worked a 10 hour day, grabbed an iced coffee with Meagan, waded in Lake Padden with Jake, Toby, and Mila, layed in the sun, grabbed carnitas and a Pacifico from Diegos and ate dinner outside.

Besides the record breaking temps and sleeping downstairs in front of the window, July 29th was like any other summer day!
