My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

What the, what? Our perfect day started to cloud over (of course, right when Jake and I got to the lake). And in came a summer thunderstorm. It was actually kind of a nice change and Jake was happy to get his plants some water! We sat on the covered part of the deck, counted the seconds between the thunder and lightning, and played Rummy.
