My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

This weekends activities:
Children’s Art Festival - my dad has a pottery booth each year while my mom and me take the girls around to do all the projects.
Nooksack River Ampitheather - This is new venue in Deming that had a free event all day on Saturday. Jake and I made it to the last concert which featured Goldie from Steppenwolf. The people watching alone made the 30 minute drive worth it.
Nooksack River Casino - My parents joined us for the show and we tried our luck at the Roulette tables. No winners this time but at least we got free ice cream cones!
Woodland Park Zoo - Jake and I took Jordan (Jake’s little brother) to the zoo on Sunday. It was SO nice outside. Highlights were the gorillas and the elephant zoo keeper talk. Of course I posted a pic of the flamingo to fuel my childhood obsession…
B-day BBQ at the Stroyan’s - As always, this includes a few rounds of extreme croquet in the mowed course and great food and friends.
