My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

This week I started my summer schedule which means I get Fridays off…Yeah! It is hard adjusting to a 7 am start time but the 3 day weekend pay off is worth it. My dad has Fridays off too and he babysits the girls each Friday. We met at Il Cafe Rifugio for lunch which is an adorable Italian cafe on Mount Baker Highway in the tiny town of Deming. It is the midpoint and perfect meeting place between Sedro-Woolley and Bellingham. I had a panini with goat cheese, red peppers and capers with a San Pelligrino for novelties sake! My dad dined on a corned beef panini and the girls ate noodles in alfredo sauce. All was delicious!!
