BC Day 2 - Vancouver to Victoria

We got up early to do some hiking but stopped first for coffee and breakfast at Cafe Artigiano.  Look at how pretty this latte is!!

We stumbled upon a bike rental place on the seawall and rode all the way around Stanley Park by bike.  Next time I come to Vancouver, I will definitely be renting bikes.  You can bike the perimeter of the entire city, not pay for parking and the views are beautiful!

After our bike ride, we packed up to head out to the ferry with a quick stop at Granville Island (of course) for lunch.  The ferry from Vancouver takes about 1.5 hours and it is a nice ride.  We were grateful of course for good weather.

When we arrived in Victoria it was about 5:00 so we wandered the shops for a while and found Bon Rouge, an adorable French restaurant which ended up being my favorite meal over the weekend.

This place was cute, cute , cute from head to toe.  Jake and I sat outside in a fully enclosed adorable terrace.  We ordered several small dishes and shared them all.  Baked Macaroni and Cheese with truffle oil, Nicoise salad, mussels and a stuffed fig appetizer.  The inside of the restaurant was just as cute as the outside.  We also shared dessert and coffee to round out the Parisian experience.
