My blog is a place for me to document the things "in my life". I love writing, dancing, music, the Beatles, everything about the 90's, old school rap, paper, crafts, day planners, girlfriends, the Cougs, Marcus Trufant, shopping, Euro travel, Barcelona, budgeting, healthy living, and rose wine (among other things). I want to highlight the delicate balance between being a domestic B-ham wife and a jet-setting fashionista - all at the same time!

Today was beautiful out! 68 degrees at 5:18pm the Mazda reported. We went over to the Konings for a sort-of Dutch meal of hamballs, hashbrown casserole, salad, and diet coke cake. Karli makes these delicious hamballs from a ham loaf that you can only buy in Lynden at a Dutch themed store. The recipe is on the package. The funny thing is that all of the Dutch people who try them say that they are delicious but not really Dutch. This was heartbreaking for Wade at first. It is our Dutch student tradition. Hopefully hamballs will someday make it into the kitchens in Holland!
