New Years Eve
NYE is a night I love to hate. The build up starts right after Christmas. ”What are we going to do for New Year’s?” “I need a new dress!” “Should we stay home or head out of town?” “Where are we going to stay?” The expectations are huge, the costs are high and the result is always a little disappointing, at least they have been for me.

Christmas boots
I must have been a little bit nice to land these this year. I am in love!
Merry, merry!!
Our Christmas Eve was spent in Eastern Washington this year. Jake and I fancied up and made a delightful cake to bring to his sister’s house. Jake baked and I decorated! Hope all of you had a perfect Christmas.
Love, the Fowler’s
Oh Christmas Tree...
I feel like there is an unwritten rule that everyone who has a blog must post something with this title during the month of December. So, here is my attempt to show you the holiday cheer happening at the Fowlers in B-ham.
This is our mini tree decorated in black and white ornaments. It is quickly becoming B’s Christmas tree. I have been referring to our girl as B for Baby, of course!...
Tis the Season
As Christmas nears closer, Jake and I also celebrate our anniversary. Today, we celebrated 6 years. It has been such a fun ride so far. This anniversary is special because we are preparing for a new addition to our family which I know will bring us closer than ever. It is great to know we have got to enjoy each other for the past 6 years and now our family is ready to expand. Next year, we...
The point of no return
I tried to resist as long as possible but I am officially out of pants that fit me. Luckily, I have many dresses that still work but I had to make my first maternity purchase on Thursday night. Jake was really the instigator for this whole ordeal, basically forcing me to try on some clothes and making a purchase.
I am now the owner of these maternity skinny jeans. They are Loved by Heidi...
127 Hours
Jake and I saw this film over the weekend and I loved it!
Finally a movie at the Pickford Cinema, our adorable independent film house that Jake was interested in. With a title like 127 hours and an ending that everybody knows, I wondered how this movie would keep us entertained for an hour and a half. It was great and such an unbelievable story. I would highly recommend 127 hours if you are...

The continuous saga of being a Cougar fan...
So much hype last week about the Apple Cup. I have to admit that I was 100% excited about the game and feeling the pride of being a Cougar. I loved watching the coverage of the snow removal while rekindling my love for Pullman and the Cougs. We lost a heartbreaker on Saturday and although I am hopeful for next year, I am also happy for 8 months without watching the Cougs lose.

I will own this very shortly...
The perfect combination of one of my favorite shows and Christmas music. I think this needs to be added to my CD collection immediately!
