On the hunt for the perfect tree!
Thanksgiving weekend always brings one of my favorite traditions…heading out to the Christmas tree farm and cutting down the perfect tree. This year we were joined for the second year in a row by the Woolcocks with their cute baby and my parents at Alpine Meadows. This was our 4th trip out to this particular farm and I look forward to the trip every year!
We chose a 7 foot Frasier fir...
Thanksgiving 2010
Jake and I traveled to Sedro Woolley to have Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house. It snowed all morning which provided great scenery for the drive.
We had several activities planned for after dinner. During the Saints/Cowboys game, we made a poll and let everyone buy in for a quarter. Paiton (my 5 year old niece) was the big winner for the $15 pot and she was very excited!

Happy Birthday Jake!
To celebrate Jake’s birthday which actually took place on Monday, November 22nd, we had a little football viewing party. Our gathering was loosely themed by the Seahawks…that is until they sucked it up during the game. Oh well.

Good luck and travel opportunities
While I was away in the mid-west (yes, that is what people from Ohio consider themselves), Jake attended the Big Brothers, Big Sisters gala and auction. Last year, we scored an amazing deal on our Vegas trip but also wrote an unexpected check. This year, Jake decided not to bid on anything big but still support the organization by attending. At the last minute, he decided to buy a $100 ticket to...
Cleveland Trip
My long weekend in Cleveland was a blast, mostly thanks to my great hostess Toby. On Friday, I was welcomed with a home cooked meal. On Saturday, we hit up the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and great early dinner, a comedy show downtown, and a chocolate bar for dessert.
Sunday, as usual, was dedicated to football. Toby and I dresseed in our best Browns gear and made our way to the family...
