Love this video recap that was on the Seattle times of the rooftop concert. Sarah and I got a little camera facetime at 2:25. Yep, I get excited about stuff like that!

Beatles roof top concert in Seattle today? Yes,... →
To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Beatles last performance, my favorite Beatles tribute band, Creme Tangerine, will be performing on a rooftop at Pike’s Place. Lucky for me, I have today off AND have to be at the airport this afternoon. So, Kris and I in our Beatles shirts will be finalizing my stalker status with Creme Tangerine! Videos and picture, of course to come. BTW, Kris...
Difficult Sirius Choice
Today on the way home from work, I was listening to Hip-Hop Nation. Jaz Z/Young Jeezy’s new song, Obama Mr. President came on. This song is incredibly cheesy but the combination of rapping and Obama’s inauguration speech gives me constant goosebumps. So, in the last couple minutes of the song, my Sirius alerts me that Lady Madonna is on another station (a great Beatles song in my...
Winter motivation
This MLK day, I booked 2 trips. NYC in March with Toby and Cabo in August with Jake and our friends PK and Kristin. That’s what I call a successful weekend!
Gotta love it when your hometown makes the news. →
My friend Jesse was rudely awakened at 6:00am this morning with the police announcing a search warrant for one of his neighbors. (Is is weird that I kind think this is cool?) Jesse lives in my old neighborhood in MV. Oh Mount Vernon, we miss the good ole days when you were voted #1 small town in America - 1998.
This may cause me to upgrade my cable. →
I have not had access to cable channels for over 4 years. I down graded when I was in grad school to save money and can’t seem to make myself pay any more than $13.00 a month for something that will make me lazier. However, my favorite Internet boys, Jake and Amir, (along with their College Humor homies) are going to be on MTV in a couple weeks. NY mag is giving them OK reviews. Someone,...
Coolest dream ever.
Last night I woke up after an awesome dream. I literally told myself to remember it in the morning. So, here goes…
Biggie, aka Notorious BIG was living in Mount Vernon, WA. Yes, that would be the Biggie who was shot when I was in high school, but in my dream he was alive and well. He was married and had a son who was in the 5th grade. I stopped by his house for the first time, which...
Local B-ham pick of the week.
A show at Mount Baker Theatre!!
Thats right, a REAL show is coming to Bellingham tonight for one night only. This is a big deal for us. Also, MBT just went through some major renovations. Although I have been to the theatre for my college’s graduation, I have never seen a show there. Toby and I will be picking up fallafel at Wrap and Roll pre-show, another local favorite!
Thanks AgForesty, for a GREAT seminar!
Jake is a part of a Leadership program that last 2 years long. This week was one of the seminars that spouses were invited to. Yeah for me. Jake and I traveled down to Tacoma for a seminar appropriately themed, social issues. We explored the causes of homelessness, emergency food networks, domestic violence, and welfare to work programs. We even had the chance to volunteer at at the...
Best news ever...
One of my favorite shows ever is back on the air starting next Friday. I just saw the promo. 2 hints: It is on Friday AND it features a coach that I have a monstrous crush on.
Yep, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS is back!!!!!!!! - January 16th, 2009
Just came upstairs to use the computer and found that Jake was logged in to Beatles Radio.com. I heart him just a little bit more for that.
Busiest day at the gym ever.
…is ALWAYS the Monday after New Years Eve. I know from experience. So, in an effort to get back into my routine (not to meet any resolutions), I worked out from home tonight. I make a ton of resolutions but refuse to make any about exercise or diet. Instead, I get back into my routine. You know, the one I abandoned in early December. Tomorrow I will work out in the am. You may find me...
Some serious thought on the Beatles →
I have been spending this entire Sunday exploring Tumblr and the blogosphere. I stumbled upon this music based blog. He ranks every Beatles song (according to his personal preference) from worst to first. There are lengthy descriptions of each choice. I don’t agree with all of his picks but just loved reading the rankings from a true super fan and music conneisur. Warning: Don’t...
