Surprise, more family time.
We had an unexpected visit from Jake’s aunt Susie, Grandma Rosemary and cousin Jody. Jake has a great uncle in Bellingham who we went over to visit and met his wife, son and family. Everyone in attendance was a Fowler. We then went to Boundary Bay to grab dinner and a beer. Jake’s grandma wanted to thank Jake and sent him home with a growler of IPA. Thanks!

I can’t believe I haven’t seen Spaceband yet. They are a Bellingham staple and are playing at the Fairhaven tonight. They play “old school dance covers and new classics” including great songs like Bringing Sexy Back, Regulators, and This is How We Do It. For this girl who is obsessed with 90’s music and old-school hip hop, it should be the bomb.com!

You know how they say that if you say your goals out loud that you will have more accountability and will be likely to follow through? Well, I am heading to see Blake Lewis in 2 hours and my goal: Pictures with Blake. Oh, and to have a ridiculously fun night.

Vancouver 2010 - Tix purchased!!
After months of deliberation, Jake and I FINALLY decided on which Olympic sport to see in 2010, Nordic Combined. This event features both ski jumping and cross country skiing. We went on a limb and purchased 4 tickets which ended up being about $300.00. I am pretty sure that this will be the only time in our lifetime that the Olympics will be be three hours away.
